Italian slate has many uses in building and for components in the furnishing industry because of its technical caracteristics.

Components in building:

  - doors and window frames 

  - treads and risers

  - plinths

  - coping

  - hard-rails and finished cinctures

Furnishing components:

  - table tops and chair-seats

  - sink top and cooker-tops,

  - wall and cantilevered brackets

  - forniture tops in general

We can produce any type of finish and geometric shape.

Thickness varies from a minimum of 10 mm. to a maximum of 50 mm.

For external use we recommend 30 mm. as maximum thickness

The maximum length for honed and sawn slate is 290 cm. while for natural cleft slate the maximum length is 270 cm.

The maximum width for honed and sawn slate is 140 cm. and for natural cleft slate is 140 cm.

Types of edges finishes:

  - Straight honed edge 

  - Bevel edge

  - Birds beak edge

  - Cove edge

  - Bull nose edge

  - Quarter round edge

  - Rabbit on back of edge

  - Single or double chamfered edge.
